Go on then, who is tempted by this? There is so much hype over it!

I have an iPhone, and my 18 month contract runs out in March. The screen is cracked on it but it works absolutely fine, but I do want to replace it when I can. I am in the UK and am not 100% happy with the coverage I get with the network.

I totally love my iPhone. It does everything I want it to do, and more, but the Google Nexus One (GNO) looks like it can do so much as well. The GNO has a few things going for it- detachable battery, better camera (5mp), noise reduction, much cheaper. But then I wonder if there won''t be as many good apps for it as you get through the Apple Apps store.

So the question is-
1. Do I get a replacement iPhone (but upgrade to 3GS)
2. Switch over to a GNO
3. Hold fire til June and see if Apple come out with a new version of the iPhone.

One thing I really hate with android is not being able to sync my calender with Outlook. I haven''t upgraded to an iphone yet since I''m still lugging my N95 around but I am going to get myself a 3GS (or new one released this ~Aug) since I love my ipod touch! Till they allow me to sync my calender with Outlook I''m writing off Anroid for now.

I have a work Blackberry that has my calendar on it, so that is not an issue for me. I only use Outlook for work, but am starting a new job and will have to hand the BB back. Even then my new work won''t let you sync outlook with your own phone incase you lose it (nurse managery type- they are scared you''ll lose patient confidential info).

I have two Outlooks. One for personal appointments and one at work. I like tracking what I am doing so I''m never late for things hence having the ability to sync with Outlook is a really important feature to me right now. Plus Outlook reminds me when it''s time to pay my bills too

Also, I hear people talk about bad coverage and all but I barely lose connection or signal here in Canada. I''m just sick of those ads by that red colour US cell provider, I think it''s T-Mobile for bragging they got the best coverage.

I''m debating this one.

I love the iphone, it will have to be pried from my fingers- great apps, itunes, etc and I don''t have a problem with coverage although I hear many complaints from others. For Christmas DH got me a battery mobile power station to keep up with my intense demands.

But I gotta say the camera with zoom looks good and so does the battery situation.., and the multiple wireless coverage but I''d have to say, we will most likely stick with iphone and do the next upgrade in time. Of course, DH is the IT expert, as he works in the field, but I have a feeling iphone will meet the challenges.
