good white queso jalapeno dip?

does anyone have a good recipe for a white/blanco queso with jalapeno dip? i am frustrated with going to moe''s and spending nearly 4 dollars on white cheese dip. so i want to make my own!

Here''s a few from online:

This one got mixed reviews:

2 cups asadero cheese, shredded
2-3 fresh jalapenos, chopped
1/2 cup half and half
1 tspn. ground cumum
salt

heat all ingredients in saucepan over low heat until melted.

Here''s another one that looks more interesting:

1 cup cheese (Monterey jack, Asadero or Chihuahua), finely shredded
4 ounces green chiles
1/4 cup half-and-half
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 serrano or jalapeno pepper, finely chopped (optional)
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Put all ingredients in a double boiler and cook over medium or medium-low heat until melted and well blended, stirring occasionally.
