Good Value BGD Stone?

I think the J color plus fluor represents good value in terms of carat for your dollar, but color is a matter of personal preference. Some people love J color and some do not. The cut looks beautiful.

You're right. I can't expect the members here to help me decide on color. That's something I have to decide for myself. From reading different articles about color and round diamonds, when set, J's look great. As long as she's not going to be comparing it to a color chart, it should appear colorless. The setting may have some pave, so as long as they match it up well with the center stone, it shouldn't make it look yellow correct?

Thanks for your input about the diamond's cut. Any other opinions about this. Cut is the most important to me, and I want to be sure this stone is as well cut as can be.

I love J's with fluorescence. I think it is worth purchasing to see for yourself. I think you will be surprised with how white it looks!

For what its worth, i recently purchased a j color stone. It is excellent cut and looks more white and has more more sparkle then any diamond i ever seen in person. I too was worried about a j color stone but all that went away as soon as i got it. Now when i put it in front of a lamp and look at it from the side and tilt it at a certain angle is when u can tell it is a J, but it doesnt look yellow just kind of a dull white i guess. But it is in a halo setting so i dont know who would ever see it from the side.

AGS 000 - awesome ASET - perfect size - love the flourescence.... I would think its a great buy!

I have J earrings and they face up amazingly white and unless she is putting this side by side with a colourless stone or near colourless one, shouldn't be an issue.

Good choice!

Actually, fluorescence is an advantage in a J color stone. It can make the stone look whiter. Looks like a beautiful stone!
