Good time to buy second hand diamond jewelry?

There are a couple of pieces that I''d like to add to my collection, one being the Cartier rolling ring (with diamonds please!) Do you all see more inventory in second-hand things right now because of the economy or have the prices of commodities gone up so much that no deals are to be had and its better to wait? I should add I prefer to buy from pretty well known resellers/jewelers.
