Would the standard places for engagement rings be good? Whiteflash and blue nile?

James Allen also has a large number of stones.

I''d probably avoid bluenile for the most part just because you can''t see the stones...but if you are ok with that it would be fine. Whiteflash and Good Old Gold are great options.

I haven''t priced out diamonds for earrings, but 1k including setting is not too bad right? I couldn''t search for loose stones for earrings on WF. Not to mention I don''t know what characteristics to look for. I''ll email the companies to ask for help.

Why can''t you search on WF? I would call them though, they can help you find some great stones very quickly. And $1k can certainly get you some very nice studs.

I tried to do a search for smallar diamonds but nothing came up in the search. Maybe I was doing it wrong. I''ll play around with it some more.

Thanks!

It''s possible that they didn''t smaller stones in stock. This is their busy season after all :).

Give them a call, and I''m sure they''ll find something for you. I found them to be very responsive and quick to work with.

WF stocks smaller stones. They have .27 ct (and up) ACA's showing up using the PS search tool. Search by Cut under the PRICES tab.

Just wanted to add that the advantage to these is that you can later trade them in for larger stones, if you wish. I think Good Old Gold offers this as well.

THey do. But GOG''s you don''t get to choose your stones.

Mine were a little over 1K but they are from Whiteflash. I love them!

It''s actually easier to just look on the WF site. You''ll be able to get about .6 ctw I SI1''s for $1000 plus the setting:

4 prong or martini settings are $175.

Wow, thanks for the help. My search criteria wasn''t coming up with anything at all. This helped a lot!
