First of all, thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful resource. I can''t express how helpful the wealth of resources here has been in my search for the perfect ring for my fiance.

I wish I had the time to go into my story more and the time to take better pictures, but I''ve been insanely busy at work. So this will have to do for now.

Jonathan Weingarten at Good Old Gold was great and I can''t thank him enough. I''ve been communicating with him since mid 2009 and he''s been nothing but helpful and accomodating.

Larry Van Craeynest was truly a pleasure to work with and meet. I''ve never met anyone so passionate as he is about his work. I will be going back to him for wedding bands (budget willing).

I realize that this post isn''t doing the ring and the people involved justice and hope to revise it in a couple months. Sorry!

The setting was a custom variation & some of you VC fans will be able to tell once I get some other angles.

I love the August Vintage OEC and would love to take some pictures that better differentiates it from the modern round brilliant.

Oh, the proposal went well; all and done. I had wanted to post this weeks ago, but didn''t want to risk exposing the surprise (just in case she''s around here somewhere)!
