It seems like there are an awful lot of college and grad students on this board, and I know this is a stressful exam time for all of you, so I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK!

Also, I know there are at least a couple of you who are taking the bar exam in July ... so, enjoy your 2-3 weeks of freedom before Barbri!!

i just finished my finals this morning....but classes start again on tuesday and i have work to do on my thesis before that so i''m not really feeling all that mentally liberated.

Me neither! I was stuck doing job stuff and didn''t get a break until it was all over. The 6-week vacation at the end almost made it OK.

Thanks Krissie! Tomorrow is my last law school exam ever...well not counting the July bar! I''m not sure what I was thinking taking a 4 credit course in my last semester...and First Amendment law to boot; studying has been miserable!!! On the plus side, I guess I''m one of the lucky ones since I have 3 weeks off til Barbri starts! I actually don''t have 6 weeks off after though...the wedding is 3 weeks after the bar! YIKES!

aw, I''m taking NY and NJ--but it must be nice to have something great to look forward to after the bar, Scarlet and Future Mrs. Polka Dot!!!

I had a cousin who had her wedding just after she took the bar and she said it was really fun beinglike "bar study course, dress fitting, study, looking at flowers, study..."

Good luck to you ladies! I know what you mean about BAR/BRI starting too early--ours actually starts before our finals end! And we also have to take a day off from the classes to graduate

And, ugh. I don''t have a job quite yet. Good thing I have PS to help me procrastinate

Just remember 6 weeks down the road, that Barbri is kind of overwhelming and is geared to scare you into studying!! Some of their test results are so skewed (especially the last "big" one they give you before the bar) and I''m convinced that it''s because they want scare everyone into over-preparing to increase the likelihood that their students pass. Also, don''t burn out too early on. Take it kind of easy the first 2 weeks. I mean, do the work that they assign you, but don''t be fanatical about it, or else you''ll just wear yourself out.

But, yeah. On that last big Barbri multistate sample test (I think they gave it right around the 4th of July), I got 68 points lower than what I got at the actual bar exam. It was good motivation but it also severely undermined my confidence.

Also, I highly recommend PMBR for the multistate. I took a 2-day class right after Barbri ended, and it was really helpful!

I did NY and NJ too (years ago) and recommend PMBR VERY MUCH for the multi-state and Bar-bri was very solid. I recommend taking NY FIRST. I did two days in NY, then went back down to NJ and compared to the NY exam the NJ essays were CAKE.

I'm taking the CA bar. We originally wanted to get married this fall, but I decided to wait till Spring so I could have fun planning and not have it interfere with my studying. I'm so happy I decided to wait. This one guy in my class is getting married the saturday after the bar.

My doorbell JUST RANG and my PMBR books were delivered. Speak of the devil...
