Hi,

Due to my situation, I unfortunately will not be able to see the diamond I want to purchase in person and will also not have the ability to return it, so I want to do everything I can to give myself the best chance of getting a really nice diamond.

I’m on the cusp of purchasing one which I would really appreciate the opinion of some of the experts here as to whether it’s really got all the hallmarks of being a beauty!

I’ve attached a copy of the Sarin report

And there’s an HD video here:

http://www.ritani.com/diamonds/round-diamond-0-82-Carat-F-color-GIA-certified/D-3W5P6X?search_key=D-3W5P6X

Now all looks pretty darn good to me in terms of the main angles and percentages (HCA score is 1.7), but that Sarin report comes with a whole host of other information on the lesser facets etc. My fairly extensive research so far isn’t able to quality check to this extent, so if anyone is able to comment, that would be great!

Also, as I’m sure you can see from the video, there is a crystal to the side of the table. Do you think this would still be eye clean? If not, how noticeable do you think it would be from regular viewing conditions?

Thanks a bunch!

Dan

Yes, it is a good looking stone. Angles look good. Did you ask Ritani if it is eye clean? I would think it is an in-house stone
since they have a video.

That would be your next step.

Good luck!

it looks like a nice diamond. I highly doubt you'd be able to see anything once it's not blown up 2000% of its normal size. I have a SI1 that looks like hell in the zoomed in video, but it's eye-clean :) (and 1.7ct)

Thank you both for your comments.

Ritani have confirmed that it is completely eye clean and with your opinions I’m happy to take the plunge!
