Good jeweler for resizing platinum in So. Cal.

Hello all,

I recently got engaged to my girlfriend and now am in need of re-sizing service for my fiance's e-ring. I got my ring from Bluenile.com and am all set to send the ring back to them for the free re-sizing, but before that, I wanted to see if you guys/gals who are also So. Cal. residents can recommend a local, reputable jeweler who is excellent with re-sizing Platinum. Even though I am fully prepared to insure the shipment for all its worth, I'm still a bit worried about shipping an expensive and important items such as this, especially after spending months searching for, and stumble upon the diamonds I have on the e-ring right now. I live in Irvine/Orange County so if anyone has any recommendations of Jewelers you have dealt with with good report I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

have you tried Jeweler's Touch in Yorba Linda? they have excellent yelp reviews.

and they are not too far from where i live

Contacted both vendors mentioned and so far got feedback from Jeweler's Touch, and within minutes. They answered all my questions and charges $80 to re-size my 3 stone trellis platinum band ring from 6 down to 5.75. Is this a good price? The only reference I have right now to compare with is how much I will have to pay to ship and insure my ring back to Bluenile... Thanks.
