What is the cut like on this? I already have one that is horribly cut with 80% table and 74% depth. we are trying to return it and I need help picking out another diamond!

are you going to exchange the diamond you already have for another at the same place?

we have to talk to them. i''m just trying to figure out what a good diamond is? they keep ripping us off, i would rather just not deal with them anymore!!!!

It''s a very pretty diamond(it used to be mine, they bought it back from me) I had to return it because we needed the money, my husband was out of work. I will tell you that when I bought it a year ago it was about $1500 cheaper though(prices have went up I guess). Also, do NOT have it set in white gold. Their white gold setting yellowed within months and even plating it didn''t keep it white

. Go for platinum if you decide to get something white.

Forgot to add, it''s at Whiteflash.com I can''t get my picture to post but if there is someway for me to e-mail you I can send you an actual picture of the stone in the setting it was in. But I think the file is too big to post it here. Not that I want to help them out(they pay back 70% then increase their profit by another $1500, sheesh) but I''m a nice person and if it would set your mind at ease I''d do it.

I''m trying to see if I can post it.

same GIA #

so whats the deal?

I just posted the link so lisak could see the sarin and ideal scope for the diamond. I wanted to show her it was the same diamond she described and the actual diamond in the picture I posted. Just trying to tie everything in together for her :) I hope it helped some.

does this mean her jewler in NYC is getting the diamond from WF?

No...the jeweler we have used in NYC has just never been upfront with us about anything so far and we are VERY unhappy! we just got my ring appraised and its worth almost $4000 less than what we paid b/c the cut is so bad! we are hoping that we can just return the diamond all together and do it on our own. I''ve found this website SO helpful in finding well-cut diamonds and information, which is why i was posting. Sorry for all the confusion, just really really frustrated with the whole ring thing at this point...

if you decide to go with WF everything I have read about them has been positive.

Good luck going forward.
