They are asking 10250. Is this a good deal? If not what would be a reasonable price to get this diamond at in a small store. Any suggestions, should I keep looking?
Ditto Ira, the proportions could be a lot better for this diamond and it will look small for it's weight, more like a 1.3 ish carat weight, you don't want to pay for weight you can't see. It is too deep and combined with the girdle measurement these are hiding the weight.Date: 7/13/2007 9:21:40 AM

It's really deep, and even GIA calls it only 'good.'
Forget the price, and even that you like it, sorry to say. At least, consider if you'll like it after comparing to ones actually marked 'excellent' cut by GIA. Dollar for Dollar, even compared to clarity & color, you don't pay enough of a premium to skimp on cut, which, by the way, we value most here.
