Good deal on a Royal Asscher?

In my search for an awesome asscher for my girlfriend''s engagement ring -- which seems like it''s taking forever because I''ve been obsessing about it every day, even though it''s only been about a month and a half -- I''ve flip flopped between getting a square emerald/asscher or a Royal Asscher. I''ve always loved the look of RAs, but couldn''t find one that fit my budget and had the specs I wanted. I kept getting quotes that seemed ridiculously overpriced. So, I started looking at SE/asshers. That didn''t go as well as I hoped it would, so after worrying I''d never find ''the one'' I started digging around again, this time for Royals and I found this one:

Weight: 1.06
Color: G
Clarity: VS2
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Fluorescence: None

I can pick up this RA for $7200. Does this seem like a good price? Should I snatch this one up?

Interesting! I saw a .9 something Royal Asscher on another website last night for just over $5K I think & was surprised because that seemed on the low-side $$wise. There is a premium for going over the 1ct mark but you''ve got me wondering -- what the dimensions are of both stones ... hum ...

But: short answer -- does seem like a *pretty* decent price for a Royal.

Thanks. I thought it seemed like a pretty good deal too, just wanted to see what you all thought.

Another question though...is there a minimum crown height that Royal Asschers are cut to? I couldn''t get the crown height info from the vendor. I tried eyeballing it from some pictures that weren''t too great (they had trouble photographing the diamond) and I came up with an estimate of around 12-13%. Does this seem low? Or should it be ok? They said RAs are cut to 15-17% crown height. Just wondering if I should be worried at all.
