1.06 carat round cut
65% table
58% depth
F color
SI1 clarity
EGL USA Cert

$4200

I may be off slightly on the table/depth because I''m going from memory, but the gist of it is that the table is pretty large and I have no idea if this makes it junk or not. It looks pretty good to the naked eye. Thoughts? I feel like I''ve looked at too many diamonds and can''t think straight anymore. The price is very low for a 1.06 ct so there must be something wrong with it, I think.

EGL tends too grade softer. For comparison sake there are 3 pages of 1.06-1.10 GIA F SI2''s and 6 diamonds for G SI1 in that same weight.

This isn''t looking at cut specs but on the cover the diamond you mention doesn''t sound like that great of a deal.

Welcome!

Pass on this one, if the proportions are right then the diamond is too shallow with a huge table, it won''t be a good looking diamond - it might look ok in the store lights but get it in daylight and it will probably go dead. The crown and pavilion percentages would tell us a bit more but on the depth and table alone I would walk.

I just purchased a 60% table diamond. But 65% table sounds a little too big...
