Are Golconda diamonds a subset of Type IIA diamonds, or is the latter a subset of the former,or are they co-extensive?
My interest is piqued because I recently saw a supposed Golconda (D, IF, 8.66ct, cut like the Tiffany Yellow).

Oh man, did you melt?

I''m guessing you''ve googled Golconda diamonds? No answers there?

It is nice to have thoughts of beautiful jewels first thing in the am! For a colored stone nut like yourself... it is my understanding that there are rare colored gems from this same mine? All That Glitters had some a while back on their site.
