I hope I find something! I ordered some fabric samples...one was the right color but the dresses are $$$$ and one looked like the right color on the website...fabric sample was not a good color AND some sort of cheap polyester...

also if FI's parents are paying for the groomsmen outfits I feel like we should then pay for the bridesmaid dresses?

Have you looked at Ann Taylor Celebrations? At least the dresses are decent quality.

That's a good idea, I think.

They are good quality and their stores are pretty convenient.

unfortunately the colors are limited...otherwise I think that would be a great choice!

I've posted this a few times since I discovered them, but I can't help it because I'm so happy this exists! I love Alfred Angelo dresses and just learned that they have a new line designed for re-wearing and made in natural fabrics (silk and cotton). The color selection is somewhat limited, but your color may be in there (dunno what it is). I think they're super-cute!

OK well I decided on bridesmaid dresses! They are going to be Siri/peacock Duppioni. I have selected ~12 styles that I like (but the girls can choose any short style...that was just to narrow it down). I think I will ask the girls to put $50 towards the dress plus shipping.

Sounds like a wonderful middle ground. Share the dress styles?

Love the color, love the choices, and think $50 is a reasonable amount to ask them to chip in :)

Great styles - I'm happy to see ones that look like they'll flatter different body shapes (A-line skirts, higher vs. lower necklines, etc.). I did something similar by asking my bridesmaids to pick out their own dress from the same designer/fabric/color/length. They coordinated well together.

Love the brand, love the color, love the different styles, love the gesture of paying for nearly all of the dress! Nicely done!
