Going to resize - what size to buy?

I am buying a ring ( http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bony-levy-stackable-diamond-ring-nordstrom-exclusive/3142151?origin=category&resultback=0 ) in which is smallest size is 5. My wife is a 4 1/2. I assume I should buy the smallest size (5) and then have it resized. Is there any reason to buy it a bit larger? Would that help in the resizing?

Sorry to post another resizing question, but this is a bit different than all of the other previous posts!!

Not all pave is a good candidate for re-sizing. I'd go talk to Nordie's in person and see if they can get one custom sized, so you're not responsible for loosening stones.

I agree with MissStepcut - get it custom made to fit right from the start. There could be a slight up charge for a different size, but better they do it from the factory/production bench, than risk a resize later.
