Hi all,
I know there are endless posts about Leon Mege and his designs, but I can''t find any comments about this one:

Anybody have it or something similar? I love the pink diamond and rose gold halo!!

I''m seriously thinking of going with this setting--I need to reset five .30 carat stones and using it for my wedding band. I guess that I''m a little hesitant to pull the trigger due to cost.
I plan to wear my e-ring on my right hand since it was custom and wouldn''t really look great with another ring against it.

The other option (slightly less expensive) is just to get a rose gold pave band with pink diamonds as my wedding band.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Bullish,

What a beautiful ring. This setting has 5 graduated stones in the ring. The look of using 5 diamonds that are all the same size would change the look I think quite a bit. I love 5 stone rings but have never seen one with 5 halo''d stones. I am not sure it would be the same look?

Wow, I have to say it is a pretty ring! But...it doesnt look like something that you would wear everyday. It looks kind
of fancy and dare I say cocktailish

. You can probably pull it off if you dress up daily...me on the other hand, I'm
in jeans most days and I would have a hard time pulling that ring off for a wedding band.

I love leons work...maybe he can design you something with your stones!

I wondered about the look of the ring with five stones of equal size. Leon thinks that it will look "good" but of course it will be a little different. It is a little more elaborate than most wedding bands, but I guess that I''m the kind of person who feels that you can wear more elaborate diamonds with anything. I would wear a diamond necklace with a tank top!

Then go for it! It wouldn''t fit my personal lifestyle either, but all rings are not meant for all people. If I saw someone wearing it I''d really enjoy the eyefull!

I''ve seen this ring in person. It''s gorgeous!!

The first time I saw it was online, and I remember thinking it was bling-tastic & over the top, completely not my style. When my friend & I visited Leon, he brought it out, and it was very close to being her e-ring. She absolutely loved it, said it was everything she ever wanted, that the culets were winking at her :-) She''s going to have it for a future upgrade.

The ring in person is SO delicate & lovely. It''s so classy, and elegant. The details are so fine. The detailed pic online doesn''t do it justice. It''s such a beautiful ring.

Can''t wait to see your finished wedding band, whichever you choose. Both are stunning picks.

I think it''s gorgeous, and would be very antique-looking.

Although this was out of her budget, my friend came really close to purchasing it. She sent the link to her fiance, and other friends, and their response was, "wow it''s gaudy, over the top etc" However in real life it is soo pretty and beautiful. It''s quite delicate, and when worn on the finger, looks amazing. My style is pretty minimal, and I was surprised that I loved the way it looked on my finger.

5 of the same stones instead of graduated should look great too. I''d trust Leon''s judgment.

I''ve seen it and think it''ll actually look better with stones of the same size.

I would trust what Leon says, I personally think it will look beautiful as well

What a beautiful ring -- and that''s coming from someone who isn''t usually drawn to either pink or halos! I imagine it would be equally lovely with same-sized stones.

Thanks for the input!

I made an appointment with Leon last week and discussed the ring. He is going to make me something that is inspired by the style I posted, although it will be a little different.

My wedding band will be two very thin rose gold eternity bands paved with pink diamonds. The bands will kind of "hug" my five white diamonds on the top of the ring. You won''t be able to see how they are attached to the bands. Leon felt that this design would be preferable to making a halo around five equal size stones. He designed a very similar ring with two pave eternity bands and one enormous diamond solitaire. I had a great experience with him. I''ll post when it is completed.
