GOG AVC wait list question

Hi everyone, LONG time lurker here. I have to say a big thank you to anyone that has posted information about cushion cut diamonds, especially the AVCs. I have always known that I wanted a cushion cut for my engagement ring, but when I discovered the AVCs on here, I fell in LOVE! Luckily, I am going home to Long Island for Thanksgiving and plan to visit GOG with my boyfriend. I cannot wait to see the AVCs in person!

Unfortunately the current inventory does not have what I am looking for. I was put on the wait list a few weeks ago. Does anyone know how long people are on the wait list on average? We were hoping to be engaged in December, but I am wondering if I will have to push that off. I am willing to wait for the perfect AVC, I'm just trying to estimate how long...

Just so you have an idea of what we are looking for:

Color: J or better
Clarity: SI1 or better
Carat: 0.75-1.00
Price: around $3,000-$3,500

I know they have some coming in in the next couple of weeks! So your timing may be perfect!!! I'd email and remind them of what you want and that you are coming to see them that weekend. Good luck!!!

I understand completely!!! It is good that you are on the list because some of the stones will be sold before they make it on the site, probably! But I think they are getting in a nice selection and hopefully yours is there!!! Good luck and give us an update after Thanksgiving!
