Sorry, I don't have any...yet. I hope to soon, but thought I'd ask others when BGD sent them glamour shots?

I got an email saying my ring was shipped, but no email with photos. Does anybody know, will BGD take glamour shots of all the pieces they make?

Thanks!

I have always received glamour shots. Sometimes they come after the shipping notification. Maybe drop them a quick email and ask? :))

I'm pretty sure BGD take glamour shots of everything. I received the shots of my recently purchased studs with the shipping notification. I would email them and just double check when you can expect to get your photos.

Thank you guys.

I actually got the photos via email today. Also picked up my ring from FedEx but I'm not supposed to look at it until Christmas.

I did peek at the photos, though, and I'm afraid the prongs on the center stone look too long, with the center diamond set too high. It looks different to me than the CAD and different than the inspiration ring, too. I'm disappointed, and wonder if it will be as noticeable in person as it appears to be in the photos. I'm tempted to sneak a peek at the ring itself, but then there goes any Christmas surprise.

Here's a pic. I wonder if it's possible to have the center prongs shortened and the diamond set a bit lower. Sad I'm even considering this.

Are you talking about the ring on the right? I think the proportions are difficult to judge when the ring is upside down, but it doesn't look off at first glance. Do you have a copy of the inspiration photo that you can post so I can see what look you were after?

The inspiration in Enerchi's and the pics of it BGD sent me have their logo so I can't post them. Sorry. (Hope she doesn't mind me posting this!)

Here is another angle, and it just seems to me that there is more diamond showing at the top (viewed from the side profile) as it is set higher than I was expecting, and the prongs seem "long". Maybe it was necessary due to the size/shape of my diamond.

I should just open the darn thing and see how it looks IRL!

Thanks for looking :)

I think it looks perfect! You want the centre stone to be set very slightly higher than the side stones so that the trellis flows -otherwise it wouldn't really work as well I don't think. I do think BGD should have sent you the glamour shots before they posted your item though...

Also, don't forget that everything looks longer/bigger in macro glamour shots -rings are actually pretty small in real life! :D But for your own peace of mind, maybe you should have a look at the ring? Is this your engagement ring? An upgrade/anniversary ring? At least contact BGD and talk it through with them, I'm sure they'll be able to reassure you, and then you'll know what your options are.

To me it looks perfect! I think the center stone is typically higher than the side stones, although I am sure they will have no problem setting it lower if you still think it's too high. I would be tempted to open it and take a peek. You don't want to be disappointed on Christmas :)

So true, I should just open it and look!

I did hear from BGD and I have a lifetime warranty if I'm unhappy with it, but I would feel terrible sending it back for changes.

This is a reset of my original e-ring diamond, a D princess 0.84 carat, and I added the 0.3 sides. I have an upgraded cushion solitaire and its very low set which is now my preference, so I'm just worried this won't be appealing to me. But I didn't want to get rid of my original diamond, and a prong broke on its original setting so I thought a reset was in order :appl:. I plan to wear this new one to work.

Best to wait until you get to open and see it yourself. I thought it looks great in the pictures.
