Yeah, I think it''s partly that I have more of an appetite, and it also might also be that coffee stimulates your metabolism. I never drank the fattening coffee drinks -- in fact, I drank my coffee black.

I am trying to give up junk food too, but it''s been so hard. The weight gain is very upsetting, though.

I''ve heard ex-smokers say that when they first quit smoking, they gained weight, but then their bodies readjusted and they were eventually able to lose more weight than they ever were before. So I am hoping that will be the case for me. I was always average or on the skinny side, and now I am creeping into that zone where my clothing doesn''t fit anymore..........!!! This isn''t making me want to continue going coffee-free, but I have to keep on.
