Kissing?

Oh, yes! :naughty:

Any thing else? Heck no! :o I'm a bit old-fashioned that way. . .

Back in the old days, 'good' girls didn't do that. :(sad If we were talking about NOW, I'd grab that fella and kiss him all over his cute face

Define "date". What if you know the guy and are friends with him and kiss him before you go out on an official "date"? There are so many different life situations that do not follow ridiculous dating rules.

I hate questions like this. Which begs the question; why did I click in this and aggravate myself.

Lol not a good day for Gypsy's nerves :)

Ohhh yes mister, I sure did. But only if he was a hottie :)
DH on the other hand, first date-(*ahem* adult content) bam, and I was hooked forever. :naughty:

Guilty. :naughty:

...your place or his?...

I don't kiss and tell ;))

Well, I just had a first date and I did (I felt comfortable with it) :naughty:

First "date", we kissed. Then, we kind of saw each other for a while. Then, first real date, as in, we are officially bf and gf....

Perfect terminology for it :)

haha! Do I dare say?! His mom's house! Next bedroom! He had just moved to the state and had yet to find a place of his own! We were so bad!

DF, so classy.

I do kiss on the first date.

But not with my fiance. I tried giving REALLY BLATANT SIGNALS but he was so nervous he was oblivious, and gave me the most awkward side-arm hug ever. (I couldn't kiss him because he is way, way taller than me. I don't even come up to his shoulder. I would have had to jump to put my arms around my neck and drag him down, and he would probably have thought I was trying to strangle him.) I thought he didn't like me. But I asked him out a week later because I was really into him. And then on the second date, also no kiss, despite EVEN MORE BLATANT SIGNALS. Just another awkward side-arm hug, except even more awkward this time. So even though we'd had some fabulous dates, I thought he wasn't interested in me romantically and maybe just liked hanging out. Or was gay. Or something.

Then on the third date he cooked me veal cordon-bleu, with figs wrapped in prosciutto and topped with cheese and honey as an appetizer, and I stopped giving signals and just jumped him.

Nah. More fun to make him work for it. ;))

can't wait?..

I had no rules. It depended on the guy and how I was feeling. When my dh and I went out on our first date I gave him a kiss on the cheek when it was time to say goodbye. And that felt perfect. We took it slowly. In fact we have a joke about that- on our 3rd date we were making out and my dh stopped and said he wanted to take the relationship slowly and I LOL'd (inside my head that is) because he was nuts if he thought I was going to sleep with him anytime soon- so I just said me too. I shared my thoughts with him much later in our relationship. Now after 13 years together I like to say (during certain opportune moments) let's take it slowly and it never fails to produce lots of laughing... :cheeky:

Dh and I were LD for almost a year before our first real date. So yes, and add us to the "adult content" group! Haha

I did not kiss hubby on the first date.

Would I? If said date was wonderful, he was wonderful, he was definitely going to call me, all the stars were aligned . . . yeah.

But most first dates are so very awkward and NOT wonderful. Maybe that's why I don't understand casual sex. If I don't know if I even like you, why would I do THAT with you???? Yick.
