Hi,

I've come across a princess cut diamond that looks quite good on paper, however, the girde is very thin to thick. My question is, if the majority of the girdle is medium, however it has two very small areas which are very thin and thick, is this okay?

Thanks for your input.

You should make sure the very thin areas are safe in your settings to avoid chipping.

The girdle veration would afect the appearence of the diamond.
If the diamond throughout looks great with no 'dead spots' (areas that are much less brilliant), then I wouldn't worry about the girdle as you should insure this purchase!
The girdle can always get chipped regardless of its size.

Good luck
