I need some advice on the following GIA diamond. If we buy it, it will be set into a 4 prong micro pave palladium mounting. Any concerns with the specifications noted? The Girdle is described as "medium to slightly thick, faceted (4.0%)". I understand that a very thin girdle should be avoided since they are more susceptible to chipping. However, I don''t know what "faceted (4.0%)" means - ??
Up until this point, I''ve been looking mostly at Princess cuts. I''m now leaning toward a Round cut since they offer the most brilliance. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
