FI bought our tickets for our destination wedding this week! I"m holding the stub right now!
We''re flying FIRST CLASS! I know I might sound like I hick, but I"ve never flown first
class anywhere before.
The woman on the phone at the airline commented that it was awfully early to buy these tickets, and was
he getting married or something? He told me that when he said, "actually, yes I am." He got so excited!
Just had to share!

Haven''t decided. He keeps teasing me that I have no say because he had no say in my dress.
We''re definitely thinking a linen shirt. He loves French cuffs---
We know he''ll be wearing "dress" flip flops,but that''s as far as we''ve gotten.
I keep searching through knottie bios to find destination wedding pictures of grooms, he poo poos them all!
Have you all come to any decisions for your wedding?

LOL--that''s funny that he''s trying to keep his attire a secret from you!

My FI loves French cuffs too.

We haven''t decided on his attire yet either. Part of me thinks he should wear a lightweight (linen) suit so that his attire is of a similar degree of formality as mine, but I don''t want him to be too hot. I''d also prefer to have a bit of color contrast between my dress & his suit/shirt. (i.e. not a white or really light tan color for him) I''m not sure about shoes for him either. I think dress flip-flops would be great, but the restaurant where we''ll be eating afterwards has a rule that men can''t wear sandals...so...I''m just confused.

Let me know if you have any more ideas. (I''ll do the same!)

Oh, Erin, those shoes look great & I think both would qualify as "closed-toe" shoes, but be much cooler than most dress shoes out there. Where''d you find them? Thanks for the fabulous suggestions!
