GIA stone on Ebay - help, please!

Hi everyone. I just wondered whether anyone could possibly give me an opinion on buying a 'GIA' graded stone on Ebay, please?

It is Ebay item no 371193858274; a 0.26ct stone that I have just had an offer accepted on and am planning to set into a pendant for my sister-in-law's Christmas present. The certificate matches the info on the GIA report check pdf download available at - http://www.gia.edu/cs/Satellite?pag...&c=Page&cid=1355954554547&reportno=2161741758 - but it looks different. The seller has said that the diamond is laser inscribed. Does anyone have an opinion on this at all? Thank you in advance for your help!

It's not a well cut stone. Use the HCA tool to help weed out stones.

Oh dear, tyty333. I had assumed a GIA cut grade of 'very good' meant that it would be a nice stone. How reliable is the HCA checker? It is a bit of a bargain. As I am in the UK, getting a stone imported adds a lot in terms of tax.
