GIA stone not laser inscribed?

So...we have changed our minds about the center stone and are about to pull the trigger on one that is GIA triple excellent, Cut by Tolkowsky. The stone does not have the GIA report # inscribed on it. Is that unusual? The GIA lab report is from June 2008.

Nothing unusual, inscription requires an additional fee and is upon the request of the customer who send it to GIA.
