I was looking at several loose diamonds in LA today and came across this diamond.

1.69ct G VS2 Triple X

I was looking at the parameters and by researching what a quality diamond should be, the GIA report on this diamond falls in range except the degree of crown. Should I be concern with this? I was originally looking at the ACA diamonds from whiteflash, but since this diamond is in house ready to go, I don't want to risk losing this diamond to someone else :P

Diamonds with those measurements are very likely to have some leakage. That is why we say to stick with 34-35 on th crown angle. I'd go with WF and get a better cut and save on sales tax.

The sales tax is not an issue since I'll be paying cash, I found this link on the search

 California retailers are required to charge sales tax even for cash transactions. If you're dealing with someone who doesn't charge sales tax, well... I'd be very wary of their return policies etc. (Unless they're giving you an 8-9% discount equivalent to sales tax, and the receipt in written to show that you did pay sales tax.) If you are working with someone who's proposing under-the-table deals, don't be surprised if it goes south on you.

And of course, even for sales originating out of state, we're required to pay the equivalent of sales tax as a "user tax" on our state income tax returns.
