GIA - how long might the backlog of stones be?

Hello friends,

Now that the labs are reopening with limited capacity, I'm planning to send a stone for grading. However it seems reasonable that there might be a backlog of stones already in queue. Anyone care to offer advice on whether to wait a little longer or get my stone in line already? Please share your thoughts.

I had just hit post on my first reply when I remembered that page and went DuHHHH!

I'd still contact them and ask in the event that they're not keeping their chart updated.

Ivy & Rose sent a pair of stones in (to Carlsbad) for me June 9, and they were returned Monday. Contrary to expectations this has been my fastest GIA experience yet!
