Why is it that the majority of online vendors list their GIA certificates with their GIA certified diamonds, but do not do the same with their EGL certified diamonds?
I presume you are referring to the vendors that have in house stones - most of them list reports on their in house stones, and you have to ask them to obtain the reports on out of house stones. Most of the vendors I am familiar with carry GIA and AGS in house. The EGL reports are often not as strict. I for example posted an EGL Israel graded stone we bought that, when we took it to get it appraised, discovered it was off by two clarities and two colors - both in the wrong direction - the stone was worth thousands and thousands less than we paid
, so I suspect most of the vendors (esp the ones you will find through this website) will not generally carry egl stones in house.
