I found a diamond on B2c Jewels that has me in shock.
It's .95ct, H, internally flawless, with a GIA report and all.
The table and depth are a little on the hefty side: 65% and 68%, but the ratio is 1.44 and the measurements are 6.73x4.66x3.17.
Says polish and symmetry are excellent/very good.
The bank wire price is $2930.

Holy crap! Is this a misprice or do you think there's a reason for it? Do I ask for a sarin or an asset? Are those even helpful for fancy cuts?
What do I do? Ahh!

I saw this virtual EC also listed by other PS vendors with pricing anywhere from $3600 to $4200. I would want to see a picture of the stone at the very least as the general cut information given tells me very little about how well it is cut. An ASET is preferred.

Order it and see what happens. They may e-mail you that the price is incorrect. But only do this if there is a good return policy in place, because if the sale goes through and the diamond ends up being a dud, you can return it. The numbers are not bad at all for an EC, but, as you know, you can't tell much from the numbers with a fancy cut.

How can I tell if it's good or bad with an asset of an emerald cut? I googled relentlessly but to no avail. I just found this diamond on other vendor's sites for double the price, so it can't be a mistake, right?

This is how the ASET tells you about the cut of the EC. I use it together with pictures and a video to make the final decision. Having a gemmologist's expert opinion helps too.

Each vendor has their own price points, depending on how much extra services they provide (Sarin, ASET, video, pictures, etc).

I emailed and requested a photo. Sadly, this was taken with an iPhone. I can't really tell if the p3 angles look good and I'm emailing back and forth to see if those are scratches or just dust on the surface of the stone. Overall I think the proportions are nice. It does look a little yellow, I'm assuming due to the lighting-GIA wouldn't mess up that bad would they?
