Hello everyone
Well, I am officially shopping for a new semi-mount. I gave it a few days with this repaired invisible set and I am just not happy. Sooooo, I am looking for suggestions for my new mounting!! I really want a simpler mounting that makes my stone prominent and pop. I currently have a 6mm band and my diamond measurements are 7.86x 6.76. I have 2 rows of invisible 1ctw princess cut diamonds on the band. So, I am wanting to go smaller and simpler. I am thinking something in the 3mm pave genre?? What do you all think? I am totally open to suggestions here. I have platinum right now, and not really wanting to stay with the platinum. Thinking of returning to 18kt white gold to eliminate the dulling and scratching. Really drives me crazy. Not looking to spend a fortune here--$2k give or take. Bring on the ideas!! My stone is really gorgeous, and I want to show it off.

WELLLL since you asked --
I think halos give radiants a really nice pop.
Dimend Scaasi has some gorgeous halo and pave settings for rectangular cuts. Precisionset has halo and pave settings that are specifically made to sit flush with a wedding band.

If you don''t like the idea of a halo, there''s always Tacori, who makes incredibly intricate pave settings. Leon Mege at The Art of Platinum also does incredible pave (although I''m not sure it would fit into your budget). Lots of PS-ers here are very happy with pave rings from WhiteFlash, James Allen, and Facets. You could also check out Pearlman''s for a really broad selection of settings.

I also think radiants in regular solitaires look really nice too... Have you seen Nicrez''s radiant e-ring? Her ring is definitely one of my favorites on here.

Good luck in your search!

Have you considered a setting like Tiffany''s Lucida with side trilliants?:
