hi everyone!

I''m new to the forums and was wondering if anyone has been to a wedding or had a wedding at the Mandalay Bay? I plan on getting married in Vegas next week and would like any opinions. Also, if anyone has any other suggestions, that would be great as well. Thanks!!!

Hello Tara- WELCOME!

MsFlutter got married in August at either Mandalay Bay or Four Seasons- can't remember which one. Hopefully she'll chime in soon!
Do a search for her name and/or wedding post. I think she called it ruby red wedding or something like that.

HTH!

I''m sorry I don''t have any experience/input for you, but it sounds like a wonderful spot for a wedding! I assume you''ve been to the strip before? Is Mandalay Bay your fave hotel?

Actually, I have never been to the Mandalay Bay, as I thought it was too far south on the Strip. However, I have heard it is a beautiful hotel, 4 star, and assume they must have nice wedding chapels. Has anyone seen the wedding chapels.

Also, I will look for the other thread. Thanks for any further input you guys can offer!!!

Get the cake by the chocolate swan. You will NOT regret it!

I have been to vegas a bunch of time. Most of the main hotels on the strip are beautiful! Any are a good choice.

i got married at mandalay bay, reception at four seasons. it was awesome. the knot was essential in my planning. you should check out the vegas board on the knot, they are really helpful! the thing with having your wedding at a casino/chapel, is that you have to use their photographer for the wedding ceremony, they are hit or miss. my pics turned out really well. let me know if you have more specific questions!

i just got back from vegas. we stayed at the venetian, which is amazing, but spent a lot of time down at MB on 2 of the days we were there b/c fiance was in the sportsbook. we''re going to try that hotel out next time - it was beautiful and a little quieter than a lot of the others b/c it''s really the last big hotel on the strip. It''s located alllll the way at the end after the Luxor but the seclusion is nice. we were as impressed with it as we were with the venetian.
