So, we''ve been making progress (finally)! The night after DD, and I moved home, FF came home (he was away for work, so we stayed with my Dad).. and, it''s been nothing short of amazing! *grins from ear-to-ear*. We''ve talked quite a lot about our wedding, and I''m so super-excited, it''s not even funny! Let me explain..
The week before we went home, I sent a frustrated e-mail to FF, letting him know I''m super anxious for him to propose, and I was/am getting sick of waiting, and all the excuses (not having the money when he''s more than able to afford a ring, trying to hold it off, ''cause I''m not working enough, etc... bascially holding it over my head, like he was only going to do it as a reward for good behaviour, or whatnot). It seems as things sunk in, though, since the night he got home, he told me that he was ready to propose, and ready to move onto the next chapter together. He actually said some really amazing things (how he''s loved me forever, and will love me always, etc.), so it kind of sucks that I can''t remember all of it, lol.. good thing he didn''t propose, that night!
Anyway, he said he just needs a bit of time to find me a pretty ring (he said "couple of days" first, then was like, "Well, I shouldn''t say dayss", LOL), and then he''ll ask.. EEEEEE!
To top it all off, he was actually going to take me out ring shopping the other day, until we decided to do it without DD around.. he''s always been dead-set against it, so that was pretty major..
AND, he wants me to e-mail the church that I like, to see if we need to be members of the congregation for our wedding to take place there (it was where I, and a lot of my cousins were baptized.. and, also where a lot of my family is buried), so it would mean the WORLD to me, y''know?

DD, and I are actually back at my Dad''s for the next few days, rounding up the last of our stuff for home, so I''m hoping FF takes the opportunity to do some ring searching in private, lol. I don''t want to get my hopes up, since I''ve been let down a lot (he was supposed to propose in ''04, and more recently gave me the timeline of Dec. ''0, but he really seems like he''s moving forward with everything (e-mailing the church? REALLY?!?!?), so I''m having a hard time taking it easy, haha.
