who would you take a stone to to have it repolished? i understand that i will need to get it recerted after the fact.

Start with an appropriately skilled appraiser who can tell you what you have, the extent of the damages are and what are the choices for repair. There are usually several possible choices to be made and a bit of experience is extremely helpful.

Like what quality..., the polish grade?

There are two factors: cutting or polishing..., which are you talking about?

polish.................

Does the diamond in question have a grading report such as GIA or AGS, and if so, what is the existing polish grade? It would be useful to know this, so the experts can advise you.

GIA polish is GOOD
