1770-1780 Georgian natural ruby and diamond ring in 18k with a silver top and rose cut diamonds. The deeply chased band is indicative of the late 18th century, as well as the portrait style bezel. A lot of cameos in the 1770s/80s have this style of bezel.The ruby is 4.6 mm x 6.7 mm. Ruby is pinkish red. Has not been resized and chasing goes all around ring.
