So Gypsy was asking what our new jewelry obsessions are ... and I thought this deserved its own thread. I''m mad for Geodes! Kara on American Idol has been wearing a few different pairs of earrings that seem to be geodes surrounded with tiny pave diamonds. Then I saw Kelly Rowlands wearing a pair on that new Bravo "The Fashion Show".

So I''ve been searching for some online ... just to lookey-loo ... and came across a feature on them in this month''s Elle mag.

Anyone else catching Geode Fever?

Oh ... I forgot to mention ... I bought a little Geode when I was in Salt Lake City (@ Antelope Island State Park). Maybe that''s why I''m groovin'' on them. Reminds me of the 80''s and all those crystals etc...

wow no wonder you''re geode crazy! The pink ring is gorgeous! As is the necklace with the yellow diamonds. mmmmm...yummy. I wonder if this means we''re going to be seeing more "natural" designs and stones in fashion this season?
