Gemprint & Insurance rates

Can anybody provide first hand knowledge if getting your diamond gemprinted results in a discounted insurance rate?

We got our stone Gemprinted and my f does not recall exactly what the discount is, but we do get a discount through State Farm for having our stone Gemprinted. He thinks he remembers it being around 10%. The reason we don't know yet is because we still have to take our ring in to get the final appraisal (got the large stone done originally, now need to take in the ring itself and have the band added to the cost and appraised (all the small stones will be checked) and then she will give us the final appraisal for insurance), but he says around 10% discount off the total yearly fee. So if you have State Farm that should be around what you'd get. I will let you know when we finalize if it is a different #. Also our appraiser said it is becoming more prevalent for insurance co's to give discounts for Gemprinted stones.
