Another one of my "ering collection"

This one's vendor photos from Daniel M have been posted, but I never managed to get good pics myself. I figured that I'd try today since we have unusual weather conditions (cloudy!) and the bright sun doesn't seem to make this shy spinel come out of it's shell. My pics from today are better but don't really do it justice. I've had people think it's a blue-lavender diamond before.

Gemcal said: "Cute silver blue Spinel, 2.03 cts"

I don't remember the measurements, and I don't think I wrote them down anywhere. Eh well.

I saw such a color once at an Intergem show. It is amazing. It looks steely-grey with a tad of blue, like ladies' dresses in the time of Louis XIV. Congratulations, good luck with such a find and enjoy your ring!

Thanks everyone! I just happened to be browsing Gemcal and saw this stone...I'm such a sucker for light blues/lavenders!
