Hi All,

I''m curious about what the colours mean on a GCAL Optical Symmetry analysis. I called up GCAL on several occasions, and no one is willing to give me a straight answer.

From what I can see, white is definitely bad, b/c the placement of these white marks are consistent with the areas of light leakage as indicated on the Optical Brilliance analysis. But can anyone tell me what blue, red, yellow, purple, and black mean?

Thanks!

We have been asking the same question too for sometime.

I met the whole Palmeri family and chided Angelo for not answering questions, and suggested Sharrie work on this aspect.
She is very knowledgable and I have seen her presenting very complex serious science stuff to jewellers and appraisers - she is a great educator and GCAL, its clients and Pricescope community would benefit.

Good to know Garry.
