Gas in my area has been slowly but steadily going down, like a few cents a day, and then today, it dropped from $3.25 to $2.89 by the time I got out of work!
It''s hovering around $3 here in RI, but FI did see a place at $2.79 this morning. Seriously guys, the gas prices dropping is like a $100/mont raise for us. We commute so darn far every day.
$2.89 for the cheapest unleaded in Kansas. We have a grocery store chain that takes another .10 per gallon off of that when you spend $100 on your grocery card.
Kind of a moot point for me since my Scion gets 30mpg, I live close to work, and only fill up once a month.
Sweet deal for me when I drive back to Los Angeles after this assignment is over. Corporate reimburses at a rate that allows me to make another $1000 above my actual cost of gas
