Hi Ladies. I am in the process of planning a garden type wedding, and I am having a hard time conveying to others the look/feel that I am going for. Plus, I am still kind of getting an idea of what I want. Anyhow, I remember about a year ago (when I was not planning a wedding) a poster here put up some pictures from her garden type wedding, and I absolutely loved them. However, that''s all I remember.... My question is--Does anyone here know of any threads with garden wedding pictures?!? Or.... does anyone know of any other pictures ''out there'' that I might be able to look at to get ideas?

By the way, I am thinking about 50 guests and I would love a small, cozy type feeling. So not big, huge, wide open garden...if you know what I mean ?

Thanks for the links Hawaiin. I had not seen either of these, and they were both great examples of the type of garden wedding I''d like.

Both of these venues were perfect. Too bad I can''t seem to find venues like these around me. They either have the indoor space I like or the outdoor/garden look I like, but never both. Doh. The search continues...

I have not looked at project wedding before, so I am off to check that out next...

Thanks for the suggestions ladies!

Yay! Pearl, your pictures are the ones I had looked a while back at and loved! I love your taste! If only I could find a venue like this... Is it a restaurant??? I had not thought to check out restaurants... I love the brick and all the green. It has such a cozy feel.

Yes, it is a restaurant, which was great because the food and service was all taken care of (and it was impeccable might I add). You might want to check out actual gardens, or estates, parks or restaurants. Places that aren''t typically used as "wedding venues". You can find really great, creative places that way.
