This is so true and so sad. Reminds me of a friend of a friend. When she got married she went to all the vendors and told them she was planning her grandparent''s 50th wedding anniversary. She got prices for flowers, cakes, etc. All quotes in writing. She decided which ones she wanted, went back, and booked them all for her wedding. Of course the vendors were not happy because the "wedding" prices for THE SAME THINGS were significantly inflated but this gal is a bulldog and she held them to their quotes.

I''m such a weeny I wouldn''t have the guts to do that but I give her credit for exposing their "game" of jacking up wedding services so horribly. I did not attend the wedding as she was not my direct friend but my friend who did go said it was lovely.
