Me: Showing friends a Leon Mege double-claw ring...
Friends: Ew its got hooks!!
Me:
Prongs...?
Friends: Ew hooks!
Me: Ok, let me show you another ring...pulls up a Harry Winston ring.
Friends: This one was modeled in the same style!! Its got the hooks too!
So that''s the story of how my friends and I figured out they didn''t like prongs. I don''t think I''ve actually ever heard a single person say they didn''t like claw prongs (especially Leon''s!) let alone two. It was hilarious for me to figure out that they were calling the prongs hooks...I guess I assumed everyone knew about prongs.
Anyone else have some funny learning moments with friends or family?
