I just read an interesting "style" article by Amber Michelle for Rapaport magazine (August edition) about the new/very old jewelry fashion using rough, opaque, off-color and super included Diamonds in designer jewelry.
I am noticing more and more (well known/anonymous designers are incorporating rough (uncut or partly cut) Diamond material into their designs...
A complete opposite to the precision symmetry, high quality we most often chat on around PS.
Some see it as a more fashion/trendy phase...., especially during these days of economic volatility
Some see it as the perfect product for the independent woman who as Amber Michelle puts it: "These Diamonds speak to a woman who doesnt want to wear her husbands wallet around her neck, but wants something more personal."
Some see it as an original one-of-a-kind ''artsy'' type jewelry...
And..., some see it as a product closer to nature..., what do they call it..., Eco...., or something??
I would guess there are a lot of other reasons...
What are some of the PS''ers thoughts?
