I just can't get into nail art-- mostly because I can't wear it to the office but I CAN wear holographic polishes if my nails are short. They're my recent nail obsession.

Indoors they're pretty boring but BAM when they hit the sunlight it's like magical stars. haha. Nfu-Oh 61 is like crack in a bottle for me.

I love that gel in the last pic!!! I get it all the time over EVERYTHING! It's shellac zillionaire!!! if not... It looks exactly like it haha!

RSG- Nope, not Shellac. I forgot the name, but it's definitely Harmony Gelish. I don't do acrylics anymore. I've been almost 1 year acrylic free. My nail beds keep getting pushed back, and I now have the tiniest nail beds, especially on my ring fingers (if you see the French Tip pics, you can see they're painted pretty "back", and thick).

Distracts - The "black" is actually Bella's Vampire, a very very dark purple. After 2 coats, it's pretty much almost black, lol. These photos were from ~a year ago. I can't get myself to do anything "childish" anymore. I feel so "meh" about it. That I could be dressed professionally, but my nails make me seem like I'm 15. In fact, I rarely even do my nails anymore.. my poor UV lamp is collecting dust. Maybe I should start again..

I want to try polka dots, though! They look SOO cute. I'm thinking to try to do white polka dots on hot pink nails, but with a few random crystal flat backs in place of the polka dot..


StacylikesSparkles - what's your foot tattoo say! I it! I want to get my own foot tattoo with my SO's name in Arabic, maybe as a wedding present, or an anniversary present a few years after marriage. (I don't want to get it TOO soon, as I'm always wary that there is such thing as divorce). Do you find it hard to hide with flats/heels? I'm so nervous about not being able to hide it for work :/ as I hope to work with children in the future.. and, well, kids are very impressionable, and their parents are very judgmental.

Just checked. It's Silver Sand on top of Water Field.. with Light Elegant, I think. They were all "layered" with a fade effect.

My tattoo says 'alohomora'. It's a spell to unlock doors from Harry Potter lol...I am completely in love with HP (favorite book series & movie series). I went through a time where I felt very closed off and decided what better tattoo to get than a spell to unlock doors and open me up Cheesy, yeah maybe, but it works for me! It definitely hurt, but I wouldn't trade it. I've had it for the last 3 years and it makes me happy!

Oh and it peeks out a bit in flast and heels, but it doesn't overwhelm. Depending on what you do for a living though, you may just want to wear different pants to cover it up (bells/bootcut).

I'm thinking if I want to get it on the insides of my foot, just to hide it easier!

Foot tattoos are the best! I have a matching tattoo with my best friend haha I know queer right? It's a pink gerber daisy flower "head"- no stem or anything! It's positioned the same place on both our feet, hers is purple. Out of all my tattoos it is certainly my favorite. And mine still looks super girly and feminine. I know a lot of places will not guarantee the color on foot tattoos, but tbh this is by far still my brightest colored tattoo lol.

I have four foot tattoos - two on each! One is a toe ring. I love it!

Continue with tattoo threadjack - I have a tattoo on the inside of my foot and its not the prettiest thing..... it was the most painful experience of my life (other tats and surgeries included) and it always looks somewhat faded. Theres definitely a point below which the tat has worn off completely but the rest just looks dull - the type of thing you would have to get refreshed every couple years. Maybe the outside of the foot is better?

But on an attempt to remain on topic - here is the standard french shellac that I get.

Are you guys remembering to apply sunscreen to your hands prior to your mani? Just a friendly reminder : ) Hands age very quickly if you don't take care of them! And it's about that one place that plastic surgeons *don't* do lifts on

Here's my boring one for the next two weeks...lol My SO likes french manis, but i need some color haha. Its Shellac tropix on the tips, with loose glitter mixed with shellac top coat on tip

I definitely think I need to schedule an appointment to get the foot tattoo touched up towards the bottom. It has started to fade on the lower part of the A. It's still my favorite since I thought about it for so long (probably 5 years lol...I don't like to rush into life long decisions!) and it just looks pretty to me!

Man, now I'm getting excited to get my next mani/pedi! Probably this Friday!
