French manicure brush?

Hi all,

I''ve been reading every threads about nail polish and bought most of the nail polish recommended on here and love them. But my favorite is french manicure and I can''t find any suggestion as to what kind of brush are you using for the french tip. Please do share what kind of brush you''re using.

When I have had mine done, they simply brushed the white on the tip side to side, then took a q tip dipped in polish remover and swiped a half moon across the nail--the result is a neat line. Then polish over the entire nail with the pink polish.

I use a slightly rounded sable brush which I dip into nail polish remover and tidy up the white tips.

That wouldn''t work if you''re using a base coat though, which I seem to need. I do my own manicures, and I use those little sticker guides that mask off a nice line.

They have french manicure pens, too, but I haven''t tried them personally.
