Free HRBlock income tax filing

Has anyone filed their own taxes using this free online program? I’m wondering if there is a catch or any tips you’d like to share if you have.

I use it every year, but it is very basic.
If you have anything more complicated than the 1040 form, you can't use it.

Yes, Federal and State are both free. And it's real easy.
However, as you go through the steps, the program keeps trying to trick you into upgrading. Just keep selecting the free choices.

There are other companies that allow you do do free filing. For about a decade I've been using FreeTaxUSA.com. You can itemize on this one. Federal is free, State is 9.99.

Yay! I think last year the whole process took me about 30 minutes. I'm still waiting for my W-2 from my employer.
