When I just published this site, I didn’t know much about diamonds thought Fred is THE expert. After all, he wrote his books and was AOL' diamond adviser...

I emailed him asking his opinion about Pricescope. He answered that the site is no good because it doesn’t provide any extra protection for consumers (read bonded diamonds is the way to go). He also sent me his book.

I’m still not convinced.

Btw, I gave his book to a colleague at work who expected his boy-friend to propose. Later I learn that despite of the book and Pricescope the guy bought her a ring at Spence Diamonds - rather expensive store in Toronto.

Fred didn't know a good thing when he saw it...he could have taken that opportunity to twist your young, nubile mind into a Fredisciple and have you had Pscope help spread the word about bonded & warped diamonds. Scary!
