Do you have any images please?

Lorelie, here is the AGSL report with computer generated ASET.

http://www.agslab.com/pdf_sync_reports/1040380570068-PLDQR.PDF

Looks good from that ASET, although a little busy for my taste with the 4 chevron cut, but that is just my taste, others prefer it.
Ah - thank you SC, thats very helpful!

Yes from that ASEt it does look promising, can you get an actual ASET to confirm Tyson? I am one who likes the 4 chevron Princess, it does depend on personal taste as SC mentions. Definitely worth serious investigation I think with this diamond.

I made the request for the aset image. I will post it if it is made avail. I may have found an even better stone for less money. They will be sending me the cert shortly.

Thanks for your help

Ok sounds good!

Heres the response

Hey Mike. ASET images are something that only really exist in the tight-knit pricescope community. No professional diamond buyers use them, so no professional diamond sellers offer them.

If I asked this dealer who owns the stone to provide one, he would have no idea of what I meant.

Gotta Love it

And all this time, I thought that I was a professional diamond buyer

Oh darn, does this mean that I''m also not a professional diamond seller?

Well, I suppose that this is what I get for being technologically advanced... I find myself at the bottom of "my game" and in need of stepping things up to raise myself to the peak of the industry based upon the example of whoever this "professional diamond buyer" (and seller) happens to be... Watch out below people! I suppose that I should probably throw the Sarin DiaMension out the 4th story window as well... Out with technology! Hmmm, I''d better burn a text book or two also! Oh, and flip off the switch on the web site.

Sorry, couldn''t resist!

Err.. that is stupid because ASET is developed by AGS for their performance based cut grade. So if the vendor is selling an AGS0 stone and do not have the equipment to prove that it has the same light performance as stated on the report, what does that say about the vendor and the merchandise he is selling?

Exactly - AGS use ASET software for their performance based cut grading so that statement is not accurate that only the Pricescope community use ASET....

Tell him to check out the AGS website.....

Darn, I wanted to make some snotty comments about not being the professional I pride myself in being, but Todd beat me to it. Sigh.

Guess I''ll just go eat some worms... Sniff.

Wink

Let me make sure I have this right. If professionals in the diamond business do not have knowledge of ASET and they deal in AGS-000. And you guys have knowledge about ASET and AGS-000. That tells me that I should not listen to the guys on here, because they are not professional.

OR

I should only deal with people that dont deal with ASET images, because as the saying goes, what you dont know wont hurt you.

I now have a better standing and will look for more advice from people that dont know what I am asking for because the advice I have been getting on here is too descriptive and informative. Thank you for wasting all of my time.

As always, its a pleasure dealing with people that are part of the solution, rather than part of the problem.

thanks
Tyson

Look at the light leakage in the center. Is this an issue?

I am told it is absolute eye clean

http://www.agslab.com/pdf_sync_reports/1040380570071-PLDQR.PDF

Not an issue. Many well cut princess show just a spot of leakage in the center on ASET, but it is not really visible IRL and especially not once the stone is mounted.

I like the ASET on this stone a little better than the first one you posted

Yap, should not be an issue.

I also think that H may be a little out of my color range. I really wanted to go G or better. Also I need it to be really square to kite set and this is 1.023.

Do you like the other specs on this stone table size, girdle, etc.

I am thinking of having this one sent in. They will do an aset, sarin and Ideal scope as well.

Just dont want to waste anyones time if this isnt a top choice. The price on this seems to be solid based on my other choices. I would prefer to spend more to get what I need however if you think this one is worth looking at I will make a move on it.

Thanks again, please be critical.

Mike

It''s a good thing I was only eating chocolate instead of sipping the wine when I was reading this thread or my keyboard would be covered with alcohol. Funniest thread all day.

PS...so exclusive, elusive and out of the range of professionals...

You''re funny too TysonKO....

I might be mistaken, since I am not really knowledgeable on princess-cuts (re. the atmosphere of this thread), but I do think that I need to correct this.

Many well-cut princess-cuts show a green area in the center of ASET, I do not remember many showing actual leakage there.

Live long,

LOL!

From what can be told from the computer generated ASET, it looks like a good diamond.

Thanks Paul, got mixed up with the color scheme between actual ASET and the computer generated ASET map. But overall the distribution does look good, not sure about the center now and if that is visible in real life.
