Found a Winner....

I think I found my winning diamond. I''ve been looking for the past two weeks, online and around town. Went out of town to check out stones too. But anyways what do you guys think of this diamond I found at a local family owned store.

1.10c, H, SI1- Depth-59.6%, Table%- 57.2%, Crown Angle- 34.2, Pavilion Angle- 40.7. Ideal cut, GIA Certified, Price tag of $6175.

Shows a .8 on the Holloway Cut Advisor.

What do you guys think of?

Obviously I can get a little bit better diamond online but from a local store, what do you guys think of this diamond. I am in love with it, I looked at it two weeks ago, and loved it, but also loved another diamond they had which wasnt as good of a cut.

Hopefully I will be looking at these diamond this week, I''m hoping to view a set of 5 diamonds, maybe a few more.

Please help.

Obviously its not the best color/Clarity but what do you guys think of it?

If it''s eye clean then it looks good!!

The price is comparable to prices being asked by PS Vendors for Hearts and Arrows diamonds, so it doesn''t seem you''re paying a huge premium to buy locally. There''s definitely something to be said for establishing a good relationship with a local jeweler.

I think that is a good diamond as far as local jewelers go. I''d check on the inclusions with a loupe and examine closely from all directions to make sure you are okay with the inclusions. But the numbers look good and the price seems okay, too. So if you love it, then it passes the most important test!
